These pictures were taken the night after New Year's Eve. Our intentions were to cook out and eat at Chad's parents on New Year's Eve, but as we were on the way to their house, we heard all the radio reports about the tornadoes in Byram and coming through our county. After hearing the tornado sirens sound continuously on our stretch of road, we turned around and went home. My parents were with us, so they missed all the action in Byram. But, they headed straight home and got caught in the middle of all the emergency responders and fallen trees, and blocked roads. They had a hard time getting through the city. But, they had no damage as so many others did. Glad everyone stayed safe!!! What a crazy way to say good-bye to the old year.
